In this lesson, the 5th graders gave each other simple directions to reach the place they wanted to go to. For example, one student said, "Let's go to the zoo." They used expressions such as "Go straight," "Turn left/right," "Go back" and "Stop."

They worked in pairs. One member had to cover their eyes, while their partner guided them around. The students did their best to help their partner reach their destination safely.

　５年生は、今、道案内を英語で伝え合う学習をしています。

　例えば、あるキッズが「動物園へ行きたい」と言うと、
　友達は、
　 ”Go straight（まっすぐ）”
　 ”Turn light(left)（右（左）に曲がって”
”Go back（戻って）”、”Stop（止まって）”などの指示を出します。

　ペアを組んで取り組みましたが、
　友達が案内している間、もう片方の友達は目隠しをしているので、
　結構むずかしいのです。

　それでも、５年キッズは、
　安全に目的にたどりつけるように、
　お互いに助け合った、とてもよくできていました。
