In this English class, the 5th graders presented their "Where do you want to go?" performance. The students role-played as a TV program staff or as a traveler in Japan. The TV staff interviewed the traveler about their travel plans. They asked the travelers, "Where do you want to go?" One student answered, "I want to go to Hokkaido. I want to see birds in Hokkaido!" Another student answered, "I want to go to Tokyo. I want to see a live concert!" Students practiced hard to performance without having to look at any script and tried to speak smoothly in their presentation. Good job, 5th graders!
5年生の外国語の授業で、「Where do you want to go?（どこに行きたい？）」をテーマにしたパフォーマンステスト（発表会）を行いました。
今回は、テレビ番組のスタッフと、日本を旅する旅行者に分かれてロールプレイに挑戦！番組スタッフが「Where do you want to go?」とインタビューし、旅行者役の児童が自分の旅行プランを英語で答えます。
発表では、
「I want to go to Hokkaido. I want to see birds in Hokkaido!（北海道に行って、鳥を見たいです！）」
「I want to go to Tokyo. I want to see a live concert!（東京に行って、ライブに行きたいです！）」
など、それぞれが自分の思いをしっかり英語で伝えていました。
子供たちはこの日のために、台本を見ずにスラスラと話せるよう、一生懸命練習を重ねてきました。本番では、どの子も自信を持って、滑らかな英語で発表することができましたね。
5年生の皆さん、素晴らしいパフォーマンスでした！Good job!
