On Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, the 1st graders have English class in the morning! It's just 15 minutes, but the 1st graders try hard to use English at every opportunity! They say the class opening and closing greeting in English. And they try to say kind words in English. For example, "Nice t-shirt!" and "Nice haircut!"

For this week's activity, students tried to find out who is happy or who is sleepy and so on. For example, one student asked "Are you sleepy?" and their partner said "NO!" Another student asked, "Are you [a] donut?" and their partner loudly said "NO!" The students then marked down their friends' answers.

Good job, 1st graders! Keep up the good effort!

　１年生の英語の授業は、１５分という短い授業で行っています。

　だから、１５分の授業を週に３回（火曜日、水曜日、木曜日）です。

　短い時間なのに、１年キッズは、いつも英語の時間をとても楽しみにしています。

　そして、たくさん英語を話そうとします。

　特に、授業のはじめと終わりの挨拶は、あたたかい言葉があふれます。

　"Nice t-shirt!（そのシャツ、いいね！）" 　や　 "Nice haircut!（すてきな髪形ね！）"　などです。

　"Are you sleepy?（眠いの？）　-----　”No。”

　”Are you a DONUT？（あなたは、ドーナツなの？）　------　"No!!!!!!!!!"

　英語で冗談も言えるようになってきた１年キッズです。
