After a long break, the students are back, and English class is back in session!

At beginning of English class, the 6th graders often try pair talk by quizzing each other about different foods, characters, and so on. This time the topic is related to foreign countries. One student has information about a country. For example, a famous food, place, or festival. They will give hints "You can eat ____." or "You can see ____." The second student will then guess what is the correct country!

Students tried to be careful with different pronunciations between English and Japanese. For example, 韓国＆KOREA and イタリア& ITALY.

　長い夏休みが終わり、山王キッズが学校に戻ってきました。　英語の学習もまたはじまります！

　英語の授業のはじめに、６年キッズは食べ物やキャラクターなどのクイズを出し合いました。

　ただし、このクイズは外国に関係しているものでなければなりません。

　キッズは、その国の有名な場所やイベント、食べ物などをヒントに出していました。

　その時には、"You can eat ～." や　"You can enjoy ～" という表現が、とても役立つことを学んでいきます。

　それを聞いているキッズは、正解の国名を答えることができていました。

　対話をとおして、英語のフレーズを学んでいますね

　また、キッズは、日本語と英語の発音のちがいについても、話しながら学んでいました。

　韓国は"Korea（こりぃあ）ですし、イタリアはItaly（イタリー）ですね。
